- It is not easy for me to pick a favorite subject to teach because I enjoy teaching all of them. If I had to pick one, it would be reading.
- My favorite teacher was my first and second grade teacher, Mrs. Smillie (pronounced smiley). She had the perfect last name for a teacher!
- My favorite book is Harold and the Purple Crayon. I love reading children's chapter books, but picture books will always have a special place in my heart.
- My hobbies are music, legos, all things Disney, exploring national parks around the country, and traveling to new places/cities/states/countries.
- My favorite quote is “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever.” -Walt Disney.

- I love teaching reading.
- My favorite teacher growing up is a tie between Mr. Howell and Mrs. Pullan.
- My favorite book is any of the Harry Potter books. I love JK Rowling.
- I love teaching because I like to see the growth that my students can
make. Watching kids overcome things they couldn't do before is very
rewarding. - I love art, if I am being general. Creating things is what I can't get
enough of. - Two things I tell my students, "Mistakes are proof you are trying."
and, "You can do hard things." I always have to remind myself these
things, too. Life is challenging and in order to learn and grow, we
have to struggle a bit.

- Post-graduate in English and literature by University Center Assis Gurgacz Foundation and in Special Needs Education by UNIVALE.
- My favorite subject to teach is Language Arts. It’s amazing seeing the kids learning my mother language (Portuguese).
- I really loved most of my teachers, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Orte. She was so kind and lovely.
- My favorite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, I love the message it shares.
- For me, the best part of teaching is when I see my kids learning and enjoying it. Seeing their happy faces after achieving a goal is indescribable.
- My hobbies are riding a bike, playing basketball, hiking and watching series.

- I grew up in Southern California and graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2005 with a degree in Human Development.
- My favorite subjects are US History and Science.
- Prior to moving to Utah, my family took 6 months off of traditional school and work to travel across the U.S. We explored US History, Science, Humanities, and America's beauty hands on and it was amazing for our kids.
- In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and friends. We spend most of our spare time at the baseball field, exploring the outdoors, cooking, camping, or traveling.
- I love working at MFES and helping my student's minds grow with curiosity and knowledge!
