I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from Dixie State University, and I am currently working on my Master's Degree from Western Governors University. My favorite subject to teach is reading. My favorite book is "Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon" by Patty Lovell. I remember my 2nd grade teacher, Miss Lamb, reading it to our class and I've loved it ever since. She is one of my favorite teachers from growing up along with Mrs. Ripplinger, Mr. Keeler, and Mr. Goulding. My favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with each of my students. Because I had amazing teachers growing up who cared about me, I want to also do that for my students. I love to play pickleball and watch movies. My favorite quote is "The future of the world is in my classroom today." I can't wait to see the amazing people that each of my students will become.

I graduated from SUU with my degree in Elementary Education. My favorite subject to teach is science! There are always fun experiments to do that get kids excited to learn. Growing up I truly loved all my teachers, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be my 5th grade teacher Mrs. Brooks. She was so fun, and always shared her Triscuit crackers with us. To this day when I eat Triscuits I think of her. My favorite book is You Are Special by Max Lucado, I love the message it shares. The best part of teaching is when students are excited about what they are learning, and when they want to share their work because they are proud of it. In my down time I love to watch movies, play pickle ball, or watch the Utah Jazz play. One of my favorite quotes is by Michael Jordan, "I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying." It's a great mindset for the classroom, as well as life.
