-One of my favorite things about teaching art is I have the opportunity to work with the whole school, know every child, and watch them grow individually and artistically.

 

-In class we learn about the life and inspiration of artists, practice their techniques, and students create a masterpiece of their own. Throughout the year I aim to make each artist memorable with fun activities and tons of participation. We use a variety of mediums to build confidence and skills. 

 

- One of my favorite quotes is "Before a child talks they sing, before they write they draw, as soon as they stand they dance. Art is fundamental to human expression" 

 

-My biggest hobby is traveling with my husband and kids. I don't want to say I've been to all 50 states, I want to say I've SEEN all 50 states. We have explored over 30 states so far and a few countries. I also love Museums, National Parks, and photography.
