Special Education

I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have endorsements in English as a Second Language and Special Education Mild/Moderate. I have also been LETRS trained. Teaching students with special needs and advocating for their education is one of my passions. I truly believe that all students are capable of growth, no matter the pace. I love helping my students achieve not only their academic goals but also their personal goals. As a child I struggled with academics so I am able to relate with my students and can empathize with how they feel about their struggles.

When I am not teaching, I am a mother to a little boy and few pets. I am also a wife, daughter, and sister. In my free time, I like to read, paint with watercolors, work on puzzles, go shopping, and spend time with those I love.
